I used to be like Adalia and think "Why should I have to improve my looks for society? I like the way I look." But now I see it as an art. You all know that I like to draw and experiment with painting. Same concept, just instead of painting a canvas, you're painting your face. I have freckles that I absolutely hate, and it is indeed possible to cover them up using foundation, but I still don't do it because I don't see that as part of the "art" thing. At any given point in time, there is a good chance that I will have AT LEAST 3 colors of eyeshadow on. Ask Kat. I sent her pictures of when I first began my experiments with it. Also - turquoise eyeshadow FTW.

Ignore the fact that my hair is wet and messy, my room is gross, I have a zit next to my lip, and my shirt is low cut. It usually looks great when I do that, but it didn't turn out as well tonight. Pretty! I went to see a friend of mine last night who's recently moved up here for uni. I was too tired to drive home so I crashed at her place. In the early hours of the morning we decided to mess round with make up and it was insane! I started out by being serious but then one of her eyes looked like a transvestite did it so I had it super OTT. The other eye looked super pretty and like a mermaid cause I did an emerald colour on the lid and blended it with purple the further out you got. She then made me look really scary! So I paid her back by giving her one eye which was brown and silver stripped, and the other purple, blue and green blobs! :P

Haha Sara, that comment was awesome. I honestly never experimented much when I was in high school. I have eyeshadow, that's about it. But otherwise I was never really into doing the whole makeup thing; being around horses and such, never really had the time for it.
