I have a autistic stepbrother. He is having a really hard weekend and my stepmom is about to break down and im really scared he will slap me again. I need help or advice or something.

Pray about it hun. I know that we are always telling you chicas to pray but prayer is a powerful thing. Are you able to help calm your stepmum down? Maybe stay away from your brother until you feel abit safer?

:dry: YES prayer is the best!! also make sure he takes his meds same time everyday and goes 2 c his doc each time. i learned that from my granny she cares for peeps that have that. hope everthing turns out alright. GBG~

Yah thats all good advice but the problem is if i say anything he ill start a whole random conversation and then i will have to go do something then he will throw something at me such as his iPod or a remote. it never hits me but it makes me run. :(

I have a brother with Sensory Integration Dysfunction (a slight variation of autism). He can get loud, and obnoxious at times. Generally if he says anything about hurting me/tries to hurt me I stand my ground and look him in the eye. It's the only way I can get him to see that I am not inferior to him. I'm not sure it would work with your brother, because I'm not sure what branch of autism he has. I hope things get better though. :(
