Not Worth Comparing

No matter how deep the sorrow, no matter how great the pain,
it’s not worth comparing to the glory of heaven.
For no suffering in the flesh can compare to God’s gift,
no agony can match the joy of His presence.
I will be with the Lord in His glory,
where there will be no suffering and pain,
no sorrow, sickness, or loss.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time
are not worthy to be compared with the glory
that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18)

I will live forever in fellowship with the prophets and apostles.
I will spend eternity with my family, friends, and saints.
I will see the Lord and kneel before His wonder.
For I belong to the hope, the assurance of a glorious future.
I look ahead, not behind.
To the future, not the past.
To an eternal euphoria that cannot be compared,
not a second thought, hesitation or doubt.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power,
together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep
is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--
that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:16-19)
