I'm just curious--are there any older, older folks out there? Like 50 or older? I am 63, so just wonderin' if I am the only "old, old lady" here.

I was wandering the same thing, as I'm fairly new to MyPraize. I registered here because, a couple of my granddaughters told me I should check it out. I did and I'm still hangin around waitin for some of the older folks to join in. I know there out there....David B)

Hi David, Thanks for your comeback. Yes, this is new to me. I have a MySpace profile, but I am very leery of some of the people on there. I was very excited when my great-niece told me about this. Is that your wife and granddaughter with you in the pic? You look like a very happy family. God bless! :)

Well, I guess I fit this profile....I am fifty after all. I fould out about my praize.com in the Christiam Planet magazine when a letter was commenting on the myspace.com site. A reader asked why christian planet had a space on myspace and not on mypraize. i think something like that is wonderfull advertisement.. Anyway I am 50, mother of six and nana of 5. I am disabled and my two youngest live with me. The rest are grown. I have never done any blogging or forums so this is going to be an enlightng. Growing up, I was a Methodist, married a man masquarding as a Presbyterian Christian. I took my vow of marriage very seriously determined to make things work, regardless. My children decided when they wereyoung that the local presbyterian church was not for them and talked a friend of the family into picking them up from the presbyterian church and going with them to the local large baptist church (membership of around 800). We lve in a small rural area and when hurricane Floyd came through several years ago, it wiped out a local lake and ruined several houses(ours was one), when my marriage broke up, I did two things: I took back my maiden name and moved to a different community. We now attend a small missionary baptist church that has this incredible love and spiritual surroundings. People can freely and openly show their love for our Savior. I know this church was sent from God through divine intervention because of other things going on in my life. I was afraid my boys would miss the Awana program and the other programs and the large amount of kids, but they don't. My ex says that this church is too active....I beleive an active and loving church gives the devil less time to interfere. Well so much for an brief introduction, I look forward to any response.
