Oh, lame! I would just bunk class for you (because you're THAT awesome), but tis Latin today. So your out of luck. I don't think I've missed a single Latin class yet, and there's a darn good reason for that. Stupid complicated language :P At least my teacher's funny. She started singing opera yesterday and then ranted a bit about patriarchy. It was awesome.

Your teacher sounds AWESOME!!! The way I learned the little of Latin I know was kinda boring. It was on dvd and textbook...the teacher was BOOOOORING. There were a couple of times I fell asleep in the chair....

My teacher IS awesome! One of my favourite teachers ever, and I've had some pretty epic teachers. She's always being reminded of things and telling us long rambling stories that have nothing to do with anything and it's awesome. The opera/patriarchy rant was triggered by a sentence we had to translate that said "Varium et mutabile semper femina" (Woman is always a fickle and changeable thing). She objected to that for obvious reasons. She manages to work Harry Potter into nearly every lesson, and we've even argued about Lord of the Rings in class. It's pretty much nerd heaven :P "His spirit was ignorant of the dark arts" (He wasn't with Voldemort, guys. Actually... I don't think any of the characters in Harry Potter are ignorant of the dark arts, they just mostly don't practice them...) "A large part of me will avoid death" (Especially after I give you this horcrux I made)
