Ok so for those of u that dont know i broke up with my boyfriend. here r the reasons: 1. I didnt think he liked me anymore 2. i found out 4 of my friends r having sex and 1 is thinking about it 3. i just wanted to be friends (but i know i like him more than that) 4. i wanted to be a good example for my friends that r having sex u know like saying that i dont need to have sex or have a man to complete me kinda thing? well when i broke up with Dakota he was like well im glad were still friends and yeah i was totally happy! but then at church he started acting like a jerk to me and everytime i would say sometine he would make a rude remark about it. i really want to be friends because i really like him that way but what do i do?

I think you made a good decision by breaking away from temptation. I understand you still have feelings for him, but it seems that you see his true colors now that you guys are not dating. And as for your friends, keep being an example and showing that sex is not the only way to have a relationship with someone. I can say don't just not speak tp Dakota. Even if you have to change your relationship from friends to just associates, you should still be able to talk, even if you have to feed him with a long handle spoon as my mom would say. Sorry if I sounded cynical or whatever, I was actually trying not to laugh... But in a good way!

I think you should stop trying to make points to your friends. I had a friend that was always trying to act one way or do certain things to be a role model and all that happened was she acted "holier than thou" all the time. Then we found out she was just putting on an act and had done various things, so she was just a hypocrite. Just be you and have your beliefs. You don't have to break up with or date anyone or have sex or not have sex because you're trying to prove a point. You do it because you believe in it. Hope everything is still better for u.
