Ok this is my first post and mypraize and boy I am a mess... and here is why lately I have felt like everythign in my whole entire life is going totally wrong! Earlier this year I found out that one of my RLY RLY RLy close friends was and still is a cutter, she has stopped but she still does it when she is rly sad or depressed. And I just can not seem to keep my life together I am trying so hard to plz my parents and keep them happy but it just seems like everytime I get them happy something happens to make them mad at me again. And do not worry I do not cut or anything I just can not seem 2 keep them happy. So I end up losing priveladges and getting even more mad at them I know this is wrong and I am trying rly hard 2 stop. So yeah any advice would help. Ohh and yeah I have got 2 do math a biology all summer because I started a new school like half way through the year and now I am behind so yeah this is goig 2 be great fuN!!!! NOT!!! So plz give me any advice u can and plz pray for me and my family/friends. Ohh and the worst thing is that like 10 mins ago I found out that one of my closest friends is a bulimic person I feel so confussed and I just do not know what do anymore :( :( :( :( :(

Wow. I'm sorry. First of all, I admire your concern for your friend. However, if she's cutting herself, she needs help! Talk to your parents, her parents, whoever and see if you can get her some counseling. Also, is your friend a Christian? Does she know how much Christ loves her? Make sure she feels loved, and remind her that Christ died to take away all of the junk in our lives. Oh, and trust me, there is power in prayer. I'm sorry about your parents pressuring you. I know that we try to be perfect, but we feel like we will never measure up. Ask yourself: Are their expectations unrealistic? If yes, talk to them. But if not, try to make them happen. Keep trying hard in everything you do, and remember to work for God. On that note, remember that God loves you for who you are, not because of what you do. I can graduate top of my class, earn 700 hours of community service, and lead 900 people to God, and that won't change how much He loves me.
