Ok, this question comes out of my text book under a section that is titled "Angles and their measures." I don't get how to solve the problem at all, so if someone could please help me, I'd greatly appreciate it! Here's the question (I don't know how to make a degrees sign, so I put ^degrees instead of the little cicrlce that means degrees): 43. Navigation: "Two Coast Guard patrol boats leave Cape May at the same time. One travels with a bearing of 42^degrees30' and the other with a bearing of 52^degrees12'. If they travel at the same speed, approximately how far apart will they be when they are 25 statute miles apart?" For reference, there are 5280 ft. in a mile, and 42^degrees30' is 42.5^degrees when converted to degrees and 52^degrees12' is 52.2^degrees when converted to degrees.
