Hi all, Prom is coming up and I'm starting my dress shopping. Just wondering what everyone else is wearing. I'm clueless right now (so many options.) So, anyone have something picked out yet? Care to share a pic? Also, what are your feelings about wearing pantyhose to prom? My mom and I are having a discussion about it... And for anyone who is going to be mean on this thread saying I'm shallow and conceited for putting stock into such an obviously superficial thing, I'm sorry you feel that way. At least I'm not putting stock into what mean people are saying on message boards :silly:

I know that lots of styles are ones with straps. And dont wear panty hose! they are uncomfortable and you dont wont to wear them all night!

They're itchy and uncomfortable. EDIT: My dress is for eighth grade graduation, not prom.

Maybe I'm just allergic to something in the pantyhose. Every time I wear them, my legs itch like crazy. I eventually just gave up and quit wearing them.

those are all cute. I'm thinking about going with a short dress...which is how the pantyhose discussion got started. My mom said if I wear a short dress, I should wear hose because my legs will still be pale. I like pantyhose, I just wasn't sure if I should wear them to prom or not...
