I'm having problems understanding how to do this. If someone could help that would be awesome..and so would they ;) The question goes: The latitude of Oklahoma City is 35.5deg north. How far is it from the equator if the diameter of the earth is 7920 miles? The answer is worked liked this: 35.5deg = 0.6196 rad Distance = 0.6916(3960-->the radius)=2453.6 mi But how do you get 35.5deg to equal 0.6196 rad??? I really need help with this
