i have a friend who is a senior. everyone is making up rumors that we are dating. what should i do :(

there is this ladie at my church she is my wensday night leader then 2 weeks ago she had this lock in at my church and me and my friend ran one time in the church and all the other girls ran to but more and she told al these people that me and my friend were the only ones that ran and then every one said to me why were you runing at church and then she told my parents i cant think that an adult would say that but my friend that i was talking about the ladie is going to be her step mom cause her mom past away last year

i think one thing u should do, is pray about it. the Lord will help though this situtation. i know how u feel. one of my best friends and i r really close. ive known him for years and ppl made and still r making rumors about me and him going out :sick::sick:. i told any1 who thought he was my boyfriend, that hes just my friend and thats all. it mite be hard but also try to ignore it. u know the truth :lol: :lol: :lol:

ok, well rumors are basically the same thing as gossip (which i hate more than anything in the world)... you shouldn't care what other people say. If it's not true, then the rumors will probly die down quickly and some other big gossip item will take it's place... that's just how the middle school/ high school scene works. It may be difficult for you to ignore all the talking that goes on behind ur (and ur friend's) back, but if you learn to ignore gossip/ rumors, and don't spread them or even acknowledge them, life will be so much easier and more pleasant for you. Trust me, you don't want drama in ur life... it's not fun Just go on being friends, and just don't care what other people think... people will be jealous of your confidence and carefree attitudeB)
