Ok, we had an interesting debate in Shakespeare Lit class about preaching to animals. Where do we all stand on the topic. Do animals have end destinations? Do they go to heaven or hell? Is there another place for animals? I really am curious. Enlighten me.

Where do you draw the line with what has a soul? I dont think animals have souls... I think of everything on earth only we do. We were the ones created in God's image. I dont take that as His physical image, but His quallities of a soul. Its what makes you a person.

there is a simple explanation of why animals do not go to heaven. in the book of Job, all of Job's animals were killed. so was his family. at the end of the book, all of Job's animals were doubled EXCEPT his family. this shows us his family still lives on somewhere but the animals don't.

You said there is a simple explanation. You never said why they don't.
