My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months. And we're in love. Haha you maybe laughing but yes I am in love. We both are christians and he has been there for me as i have for him. The problem is that I am 15 and he is 17 almost 18 and on july 20th he is leaving for Navy bootcamp. We have talked about marriage and all but I am struggling with it. He tells me he loves me. Im scared though. What if i wait and then in a couple years that have gone by i waited for nothing?

i know how you feel. i have a friend that i can see myself with forever, we have been friends for almost 16 yrs,(since i was born) and my dad doesnt understand why i like him so much, he said that my friend doesnt have a good enough future for me, but i really dont care, and just a few weeks ago, he decided to sign up for early enlistment, he is 16. and he says how he can go to war, and if he gets shot, they will give him a lot of money and he can buy me stuff and i wont have to worry, but trust me, i worry everyday and he isnt even in boot camp yet. but if i were you, i would wait for him. if you too are meant to be together, then God will bring him home safely to you. hope that helped.

Have you talked to God about it... A have you talked about it with your parents or other person of authority?

well I actually know what you mean. My bf and I were together for 3 years but some things came up with his family and he needed to work that out. It's been a year and I still love him. Although I havent been able to see or talk to him, I know he feels the same. It's not really that long when you think about it. Believe me, If you really do love him like you claim, if you were both serious about marriage, You'll wait and so will he.
