I made a promise i wasnt going to date in middle school and i was going to save myself for whoever God points out for me. ofcourse i like guys.....i think their cute and junk like that but just because all my friends and some younger people i know have boyfriends/girlfriends.....im not going to break that promise. so just talk to God about it......whenever you feel lonely do something fun instead of thinking of guys. call a friend, hang out with your family or just spend some time with God....thats always fun too :]]] hope i helped

Yeah now i know somebody who doesnt date, i havent made a promise not to date. But it is pointless dating in middle school even though i wish i had a bf.Thanks for all the advice:) .

I know so many 13 year old's, and younger, that have a "boyfriend" its really ridiculous. I'm 17 and I have [i]never[/i] had a boyfriend. And quite honestly, I don't want one nor am I ready for one. But there are times when I want a guy to just love me and be there for me. And it's completely normal to feel like that. God made us to have a desire to be with the opposite sex. It's what we do with those feelings when we aren't married that seem to be the problem :P What I do, and what I suggest you should do as well, is ask God to help you not to focus on those feelings, but to focus on Him instead. It takes a little concentration but it helps. :) You can message me any time you want to talk about this or anything else :)

i agree w/ most of wat was said but like you dont NEED 2 like just go out w/ some guy just becuz "everyone else is" i mean sure we all want a "special friend" (lol) but if u dont have 1 rite now it ok!! :side: :side: but if you do find someone you really like then you can go out w/ him!! im not saying throw yourself @ guy, im just saying keep ur eyes open becuz even tho you will probubly NEVER marry them they can still teach you things about life becuz isnt growing up about learning?? just saying......................;) ;)
