ok so this has been going on way to long! i need help theres this guy that ive like since the 4th grade, now were going to jr high and i really need some help. so this is gonna sound cheesy and a little like taylor swift's song you belong with me. ok so heres the story, in fourth grade, we were really good friends, but then he moved and i found out that i really like him, but get this, he moved back the following year! i was to shy and embarassed to say anything and i think my friend told him i liked him [ but im not sure ]. now were kinda friends, but i still really like him. i really need to know what to do. im pretty sure telling him is not an option because im not brave enough. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!! :dry:

You're going to jr. high? I would say don't do anything about it. Don't worry or stress about it. Continue to stay just friends. That's my advice. :)

Kez and Tabie- :laugh: OP- Do nothing. Dating at this age is pointless. Build a relationship with God and your family/friends first, then you can start worrying about all that dating stuff in a few years. EDIT: Sorry, I didn't pay attention to the other posts. Yes, this just sounds like a crush. Give it time and it will probably pass. Ignore it and move on. Praying can help you do that. :)

thank you! the only responses from my friends are ' Tell him!' or ' flirt! ' im just not that person. and i know that dateing is pointless at this age i mean really people, you hang around each other for a day then 'break up'. thanks! maybe ill read my bible tonight.

I would just stay friends! That's the best thing you can do.

heh. Which reminds me . . . Last night, me and Mom were driving back from the lake, and we were chatting about pre-marital sex. She was like "You better not have sex until you're married." I was like "Oh. That's okay. I'm not getting married. I don't like boys." *long pause* " . . . and on that note, I don't like girls either." "Thanks for clearing that up, Kayla. I was a bit worried." :P Then I cleared it up even more by telling her that I *do* intend to get married and I *do* want lots of pretty babies. I think that made her happy.
