Well it sounds like you already have a foot in the door. Think about why it didn't work last time, and do your best to address and change this fully. Then just go for it. Good luck.

I'd say I have a foot in the door, yea. I'm not afraid of asking her and I'm not afraid of rejection, I'm more afraid of her not wanting to work (because we work together) anymore because it would be weird and I'm her only friend at work. She doesn't get along with the others much....
