I trust that a lot of you have heard about the group of terrorists that were stopped in London on Wednesday night. Apparently there were about 20 or so terrorists that were gonna crash a bunch of planes in different locations around the world, but their plans were thwarted after the airport was tipped off by someone. I don't know too much about the attempted attack (my mom told me about it), but I do know that the airports in London are only letting you take a wallet on board the plane and nothing else. I know that here in America, they aren't letting you take anything, even an ipod or a cd player, on board the plane. That really stinks 'cause I'm supposed to fly out to Texas to visit a friend in December, and a 5 hour flight with nothing to do sounds really boring! The attempted attacks also happened on the day that I was flying back home from Colorado! I sure am glad that I missed it! Anyways, I was curious to hear your opinions on the attempted attacks and on the heightened security measures at the airport and on the airplanes. Also, if you know any more info. about the attempted attacks, then please feel free to post that too, 'cause I would like to know more about it. Thanks! By the way, I am glad for the security and I understand why they tightened it, but it still stinks!

I am totally behind all of you who are behind all the safety measures! I personally have nothing against them, 'cause if ipods or anything else can cause something like a terrorist attack to happen, then I am glad that they are banned from airplanes 'cause then it's a lot safer for everyone. I am glad to hear that they allow books on the plane, 'cause I love to read and reading would help to pass the time a lot, especially if you were flying alone.
