Yeah I saw that the other day...it's awesome from a scientific perspective but the potential big brother uses are unnerving.

So far, y'all are having the same thoughts that I had. I first heard the story on the radio and my dad and I looked at each other and immediately said "mark of the beast".

As long as it stays on a medical/voluntary basis I don't see it that way, and obviously this isn't in any way an actual permanent tattoo. I think that it's actually really cool. My mom had to deal with all sorts of heart monitors and things that she hated and was incredibly frustrated by, and I see how that if this had been available to her if really would have cut down on her anger and frustration dealing with her conditions.

^THIS. You guys, this is just a very bendy circuit board glued to a temporary tattoo. It's basically a higher tech version of this little round breathing and heartrate monitering stickers they already use. No beasty marks here, move along.
