hey girls,i neeb some opinions! mainly for everyone thats been through this, so my Dad just can't trust me! and it effects like everything i do, i've never done anything to make him not trust me. when i was younger i always told myself that i would always try to keep open minded when it comes to understanding my parents. but its come to the point where he doesn't like me talking on the phone, he hardly ever lets me go out with my friends, and now i have a lot of guy friends{just friends} and he's all weird about it doesn't want me hanging out with them, i can't take walks by myself!everyhting i do has to be what and when he want me to !! i've tried telling him that i would Never Ever to something stupid that would end up hurting me . but he's always hearing all this other friends talking about there girls doing [i]stupid [/i] stuff, he thinks i'll be the say way, How do i get my Dad to let my go, just a little bit, i just want to choose the way i life my life. He knows that i don't want to date, and that i want to live my life for Christ, so all i need is a little trust form him.i'm almost 16, i just sick of being treated like a kid still, any body have a mom or dad whose like that? what did you do?

Parents do what they feel is [i]best[/i] for us, because they love us and want to protect us. And it doesn't hurt to pray either. Sweetie, your dad is just looking out for you. Your his little girl, and its hard for dad's to see their baby girl growing up. He might have seen something in your guy friends that he didn't like and thats why he doesn't want you hanging out with them. And he might not let you talk on the phone cause he thinks your gonna call one of your guy friends. You need to make it [i]clear[/i] that your not going to do anything impure with them. And even if he doesn't change his mind you still need to obey his authority. But hun, your not even 16 yet. I know you feel like you should be able to do almost anything but your not. You've got quite a bit of growing up to do still. And until you turn 18, whatever your dad says go's. He's in charge whether you like it or not. But even if after you talk with him about it and he hasn't lightened up, you still need to obey and respect him 1. because he's your father and 2. cause God tells us to obey and respect our parents.
