If anyone's been paying any attention to the news for the past week or two, you probably know about all the rioting, looting, and violence in these Arabian countries. Several deaths and hundreds of injuries have been reported in Egypt alone. The police have been shooting peaceful protesters and looting hospitals. Please pray for the safety of these people -- Muslim, Christian, and everything in between -- as they try to get the freedom that we take for granted. It's been a bittersweet time for me as I'm happy to see the light of democracy on their horizon, but saddened to see all the violence as it's being resisted. I also have a friend in Tunisia, as I know others do, and it's nice to know things are calming down over there. So yeah. Prayers would be awesome.
