I was just watching the local news. Every day, they have a new web poll question, and this was today's "Do you believe that Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream was fulfilled by Obama being elected."

My response - I don't believe his dream was fulfilled. The dream was that people are judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have heard many people who have said that they voted for Obama just because he is black. "It's about time we have a black president." (all that stuff) To cut it plain, I did not vote for him, but it wasn't for the color of his skin, but because of the content of his character. There were several who did vote because he was black. What Say You?
