Weird? I thought it was just me. >>

Yesterday in Spanish class, we were playing a game where there were Spanish words up on the board, and two people go up, each with a fly swatter, and when the teacher says a word in english, they have to find the Spanish translation and hit it with the fly swatter first. One of my friends went up, as it was, of course, her turn, and I told her, "G-d is on your side." It's something I say while I run, and always is a comfort to me, especially during competitions of any sort. The guy two seats away looks at me, and goes, "You're weird." Now, for me, this doesn't bother me at all. But should have I honestly said, "G-d is on your side" when my friend isn't a Christian? Just asking for opinions.

Sure, why not? What's the worst that could happen, you might offend someone?? Truth is, if someone is offended by the truth, that's their own problem and they need to grow up. :) So, encourage away!!

If she gets offended, tell her it just slipped. Most people, even if they aren't Christians, don't get offended by things like that. I work for a company that calls people to get them to donate to charities and we say "God Bless You" to every customer we get... no problems yet.[/quote] Spanish scrabble? Nope. Never liked Scrabble anyways. I've heard that the Spanish II classes watched The Incredibles, with the language reset to Spanish without English subtitles.
