I have a friendship problem that I was hoping you all could help me with. I have been friends with one of my friends since I was 4 years old and she was 2 (she's 14 now and I'm 16 now), which has been a pretty long time! Anyways, I was supposed to go to her house tonight for a sleepover, 'cause my little sister just turned 9 years old the other day and she is having a sleepover tonight, and I didn't want to be around a bunch of screaming little girls. Anyways, my friend called me this morning and backed out of the commitment because a close family friend of hers is coming up from California either today or tommorrow and she hasn't seen him in months and so her and a bunch of people are gonna throw him a party (she didn't even know about it until today). The problem is, this isn't the first time she's backed out on me when something else has come up, and as far as I remember, the other reasons she backed out before weren't all that important (if it was I probabaly would have remembered it). My mom got really upset about it because she said my friend was taking advantage of me among other things. See, my friend is kinda into all the fashion and everything and would be considered popular in school, but me and her and I'm not like that, but me and her have always been friends. My mom said that all of my friend's "clique friends" wouldn't be there for her in a year or two and that my friend should value my friendship with her more. To me and my mom it seems like my friend's "clique friends" are more important to her than I am. Anyways, my mom told me to pray about the problem and talk to my friend about I talk to her (my mom) again. What do you all think about how my friend is acting? What kinds of things should I say to my friend? Do you all have any advice you can give me about my problem? Most of all, please pray for me about this! Thanks!

oh im really sorry and i wound love to help......... but i would be to emotional now.....at my age... anyway....im really sorry for you and i will pray.and pray. AND pray for your 12 year old friend ship not to end and that she doesn't do that anymore.
