Ok, here is the deal. For the last few months of last school year, I have had this gigantic crush on this Christian guy who was in my spanish class at the time. I was attracted to everything about it from his glasses to his taste in music. He was very nice and the Word was very important to him. He is into courtship, which I have somewhat struggled with, because I was not raised around the whole principle of courtship (not that I wouldn't do courtship ever). Anyways, I asked him for his e-mail address before school got out for the summer (I don't have any other means to contact him besides that), and I e-mailed him back at the beginning of July. He hadn't e-mailed me back by the time I got my schedule for school in the middle of August, so I preceded to e-mail him my schedule anyways (just in case he would e-mail me back) so we could compare our classes for school. Well, he still has not e-mailed me back, and he hasn't called me or tried to contact me in any other way that I am aware of (I gave him my phone numbers as well as my e-mail address). I am seriously considering just giving up on ever going out with him because of: 1) his apparant lack of interest in me from not contacting me at all, and 2) I never see him anymore, so how is he supposed to ask me out? I don't see him anymore 'cause I don't have any classes with him and I haven't seen him at any of my lunches or in the hallways and I don't go to the same youth group or church that he does. Here are the questions for you: What do you think of the situation, what could the situation mean, and should I give up on ever going out with him or not and why? Thanks for your help!

1st of all, what a jerk, im not sayin that to be rude or to be mean, but its true. If someone emails me, then i always email or call them bak. he might be a player......some ppl use the word as a cover up for their wrongdoings without evr believing in it.....so i wud give up on him and find a better christain guy, trust me, their out there......*sigh*;)

I don't think he is that mean (at least it didn't seem like that to me), but there aren't a whole lot of reasons why he wouldn't e-mail me back, unless he has just been extremly busy.

I f he was extremely busy, then it wud be okay, but still.

If he hasn't e-mailed you back, he proably isn't interested and knows you are.

I don't know how he would have figured out I like him though, unless one of my friends blabbed to him, but I trust all my friends not to do that, and I told only friends I had a lot of trust confidence in. I did give him a picture of myself and labeled the back and I could have sworn I crossed out the "I <3 U!" thing I put on the back of it (I was originally gonna give it to another friend of mine, and the I <3 U thing was like saying "you're my best friend"). Unless he took that wrong (assuming I didn't cross out the I <3 U thing), how would he know I liked him?

By the way, I never told him directly that I liked him, at least I don't think I was overly obvious about it, but who knows. Anyways, thanks for all your help/advice Lorna and HelloWorld! I really do appreciate it!
