What does gay mean?

Ok this is a question that has been on my mind. As mentioned before on a previous thread, I know someone who has gay thoughts and stuff. But he is christian and rejects them. Would you classify this person as gay?

I feel an occasional desire for porn, but this does not mean that I am giving myself to that lifestyle. Through God's grace, he can reject those thoughts as I reject mine.

yea but does the term refer to the lifestyle or the desires that one has?

the word gay actually means happy. it is man that changed it into meaning homosexual.
