I would pull the other card... say you really dont have any money... and see if they are willing to just walk around the park... and talk... a girl like that is worth keeping around

We'll just get mad. *morals-Stay firm in your Christian faith. I'm looking for a guy who will stand up for Christ no matter what. Hope this helps!
All I have to say is...AMEN!!!
Those are really good things to mention, but I think that if we as Christian girls want more guys to be this way, we need to be encouraging them to be this way. Looking at them as brothers in Christ instead of future boyfriend. I personally am done with dating. I don't see the point in it if I am not prepared to get married. That's what dating is puposed for: to find who you are supposed to be with. Why start something that I know I can't finish?
Oh yeah that's completely true. I'm not even interested in dating guys yet. I'd rather be friends with guys than date them right now. No offense to any of the guys out there! These are just my feelings!

Some girls like it when a guy is less aggresive as well though. From a girls side though, I'm in an awesome and godly relationship right now with my bf and WOW he's an amazing guy. :woohoo: He found me when i wasn't looking for a relationship.

why does it seem like every girl I know says that I am the "perfect guy" or that any girl would be "lucky to have me" yet none of them seem to want to be that girl?... i've always been kinda curious

Its not that they dont want to be that girl... sometimes there is things holding them back. And i dont want "the perfect guy" I was the perfect guy for me... which i know wont be perfect to anyone else but me. some qualities that i love... some other people can't stand.. like i love to banter... not alot of people know what bantering is for one.. and know how to do it intelligently

If you had a sister who was great and every guys dream girl would you like her? NO! It wouldnt matter how perfect she was...she's your sister..same thing here...now your not ACTUALLY their brother...but thats how we think of our best "guy" friends. So yeah....I think that might it..that or they don't wanna mess up your relationship as friends...so they think if they go out with you.... you won't be friends anymore. Hope that helps!

I dont agree i dont think that all gurls think of their guy best friends like that... I told my best friend everything... at first i didn't wanna be best friends with him anymore.... once i figured out that i had feelings for him.. because i was afriad that he would stick me in that catogory forever... but one day it just slipped out and we fell in love with eachother... I feel in love with my best friend and i wouldn't change it for the world. We are on a break now.. but even if we never end up together... i wouldn't change things for the world... We will always be best friends... if not married best friends.. then best friends none the less.

Don't really have a question, just adding to what Charis said: I met this girl about a year and a half ago and we quickly became friends. Over this past summer, we became really good friends, to the point that she basically said we were friends on the same level as her best female friend that she's known since like 4th grade. Then, she found out I liked her as more than a friend and told me she felt the same way (which I suspected all along and then felt kind of stupid for not really seeing it earlier-I guess it was one of those things where you deny things you think are too good to be true). Well, basically long story short, we've been dating for about 5 months, and I have a good feeling about her if you know what I mean. Of course, with us it's not like I've known her for long enough to really have a brother/sister type relationship so that hasn't gotten in the way. This could also be an exception to the rule, so maybe I'm just lucky ;)
