I have a question, I want people's experiences, opinions, whatever you have, I just want to know: What is a <b>best friend</b>? (and I don't mean "who is your best friend", I mean what "best friend" means to you- if you want to describe your personal friendship that works but not just names) thank you muchly :)

a best friend should basically be someone that you can do anything with without having to worry about what they might think of you because nothing you can do will make them feel any different about who you are they need to see your faults and weaknesses they need to be someone that you can talk to about anything always willing to give advice always there to be a shoulder to cry on always there to point you towards God when you forget to find him a best friend should be your spiritual mentor as well as just an amazing friend i probably forgot a few things but that's all i got for now

a best friend is.... someone who will listen to your problems no matte how lame they may seem someone who tells you everything someone you can sit with and just be silent someone who loves you for who your are someone who loves to spend time with you just cause someone who you get along with despit your differences someone who is not afraid to tell you that you are being stupid and need to soak your head someone who you can't hold a grudge against someone who is there for you through all your ups and downs someone who is just your guardian angel in disguise

I recently got this e-mail from a friend and I think it pretty much sums most of it up! REAL FRIEND TEST ! This is GOOD..I expect it back too! A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself (and doesn't feel even the least bit weird shutting your 'beer/Pepsi drawer' with her foot!) A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.. A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book. A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party. A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean. A simple friend hates it when you call after they've gone to bed. A real friend asks you why you took so long to call. A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems. A real friend seeks to help you with your problems. A simple friend wonders about your romantic history. A real friend could blackmail you with it. A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument. A real friend calls you after you had a fight. A simple friend expects you to always be there for them. A real friend expects to always be there for you! A simple friend reads this e-mail and deletes it. A real friend passes it on and sends it back to you! Pass this on to anyone you care about......if you get it back you have no beginning, no end. I have friends who don't check their email much and don't want a lot of forwards, so I can't send this kind of stuff to them.
