ok in a nutshell 1.if its perscribed by a doctor to help you end your period, or clear up acne in my friends case, etc... its fine. 2.if it is used when you are married and not ready for kids it is a wise choice becuase you are being responsible adults by knowing you aren't ready for kids. So its fine. 3.if you are unmarried and having sex which is wrong, then it is also wrong for you to take birth control.
I don't agree with a lot of birth control methods because they have abortive propities...
about the whole birth control with abortive properties i don't think that is accurate information. There you have it i hope it helps! B)

Actually, StrawberrySwitchblade is right. Some forms of birth control do have abortive properties. Life begins at conception, and pretty much all forms of birth control prevent conception. To that point, they're fine. They're not ending life. However, some also have a "back up feature" which causes a fertilized egg (after conception) to be kept from implanting, thus killing it. I agree with your description of birth control, aav_jewel, but I think a lot of thought must go into choosing what type of birth control is used. If any of my information is faulty, please let me know. My ethics and development psychology classes on this were a while ago, and I could have switched a few things.

Okay seriously, it's your body and you can do what ever you want with it. If you are not ready for a baby then prevent it. Seriously, birth control is one of the best inventions of our time. Use it. Whatever you do, be careful. And don't do the rythem method get your butt down to planned parenthood and get some pills and condoms.

I dont think BC is bad, cause if you want to prevent yourself from having irregular periods then thats what it does, but some people use it not to have children! WHICH DOESNT WORK... lol.. I was on BC for 2 years and I got preg.

I don't think there is anything wrong with birth control....it's better than having an abortion because nothing ever even happens before it can be an actual baby right?

Sometimes brith controll can help stop period pains... but just cuz you are on them doesn't give you the right to do anything with anyone untill you are married!!
