what do you think? Do you think it's ok for a Christian to go to school dances? what would you think if your girlfriend wanted to go but you couldn't go with her? Would you be ok with letting her go with a guy friend?

i think a Christian should go to the dances. ive been to all but one of mine. and i think its ok to let your gf go. as long as you know it wont turn into something more

I once went to a high school dance with a friend of mine who was not a romantic interest and my girlfriend let me, but she wasn't my girlfriend at the time so it didn't really count.

I've been to a few school dances before, and I think they are fine in general to go too. I completely agree with everyone on here who says that as long as you don't dance inapropriately, then there is nothing wrong with going to dances. As for letting your gf go without you.....Is she someone you can trust not to cheat on you? If you can trust her 100%, then I would say it would be ok to let her go with a guy friend, as long as you could trust him just as much as you trust her. If she can't be trusted all the way, then I would say it'd be better for her to go with girlfriends, that way she's not tempted to cheat on you.

I think personal dances are not good and do not lift up God (but you do get you rub on as you dance)...and as for your GF going with a guy friend WOW I say no...she should agree with your feels about the dance or dump that chick...

But then again neither me nor my Gf can dance so i dont have that problem.
