Okay, I think I will totally lose my mind if I don't write this stuff, so here it goes. First of all, I am a freshman, meaning I just started high school. Yeah, we started last Monday, the 27th, and we've been in school for about a week. Anyway, so I've had a couple bad expierences with high school so far and really belive I'm not going to get too far. Do you think you can give me any advice?

I feel the same way. I have always been home-schooled and I just started school. I don't fit in very well. Just pray about it and trust that everything will turn out right. if your problems are people related, just do what you have to do. When you think about it, life may be tough right now, but in 20 years who will care anymore? God is in control and he has a plan. So just concentrate on doing your best. Good luck!

meh, it's really not that bad, I mean, it just started....Anyway, I'm a sophomore and most of the kids in my own class hate me, though I've never done anything to them....I've made friends with upperclassmen instead....Also, it's best to get to your classes quick instead of hanging around the hallways unless there's someone you can trust with you....

Thanks for the suggestions. I think the biggest thing I worry about the most is my faith. Like, there aren't very many people who are Christiand, and being a Christian I'm sort of worried if people will tear me down. Maybe I worry too much, but that's just me.

It's absolutely tru though. Because you are Christian they will tear you down and most of the time you aren't even aloud to show your belief in class from what I've heard. Just be strong in what you believe and never, i repeat, NEVER stand down, God is with you and will help you. Through him you are strong. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." just remember that, :woohoo:

Do you think you can give me any advice?[/quote] I am a senior in high school, so let me give you some advice here. I don't know exactly what your problems are since you didn't mention them, but I can tell you to BE YOURSELF! Popularity is not what it's cracked up to be! I have never been popular, but I know people who are, and really, they have all this pressure to be perfect and be the one everyone likes, but they aren't all that. Being popular means, wearing what others want you to wear (the "in clothes"), not hanging around with people they deem "un-cool", going to parties that Christians shouldn't be at, etc. Not everyone is like that, but a lot of popular kids are. Also, don't be afraid to go talk to people. Invite someone to eat lunch with you and just start talking about something that interests you both like music for example. Join as many activities and clubs that interest you, and don't let your supposed failures get in the way of having a great time! Forget any bad experiences, 'cause trust me, most of the people you see in high school, you will never see them after it, so all your bad things WILL BE FORGOTTEN! If you need more help, feel free to PM me.

Thanks again. horsechick- I totally know about being popular and stuff like that from middle school, and you're right, you gotta be yourself. It's not much different from middle school, though. All the popular people try and show off everything and everybody's pretty much altogether disrespectful. Thanks for the advice. lil-rush- I actually do bring my Bible to school. I think it's great to have people come and talk to you about there problems and you can just pull out your Bible and give them a bunch of scriptures. It's great. We have a "Christian" club at our school, but we're not allowed to mention anything religous or spiritual or stuff like that. I think that is stupid, but I guess that's how it is. So thanks everyone else and I'll keep you posted how everything goes.
