I am thinking about writing a book, but don't tell JoeWeird. It might be a fantasy book like Eragon with Dragons, magic and epic battles, but it would follow the story of a common foot soldier while he fights for survival. Edit: Grammar and to please Gaming Gal

hrm.....writning a book? i am too but mine is diffrent than yours. mine is about a surgeon who accidentally kills a person in surgery. he blames his colleague and the person gets fired. oh by the way the surgeon is a vampire. ur book sounds interesting but please dont make it follow the same old drab boring plot that most warrior books follow. i am only in 9th grade and im 14 about 15 and i know u are thinkin whatever but i have read more books than probably many people u know so i know what im talkin bout.;)

If you honestly didn't want JoeWeird to find out, then you shouldn't have posted this. Because these forums are public, so he can access them quite easily unless he suddenly gets banned from the site or something.

I was joking about the joe comment. and Gaming Gal? I have probably read more books than you in my 15 years, 4 months, and 11 days.

I am against witchcraft and things that claim not to be,and yet bare strikeing similarites,but harmless bippity bopity magic is fine. And where would the heroism be in fighting for glory?

It is still in the "I don't know if I want to write this" stage, so no I don't have an outline or a rough draft just an idea and I just wanted to bounce it off some people. It will be a full blown book, not the witchcraft in Eragon, but the dragon riders and other users of magic use magic similar to what Eragon uses.

i think magic(or whatever u want to call it i have read about many types in fiction books) adds to the story. the person can do stuff no one else can and magic can always add a twist to the book if u get stuck. i think u should run with the idea and write as much as u can. thats what i did and my book is already 19 pages long!:laugh: ;)
