Sometimes its hard to imagine true love being alive. I've had my heart broken a lot and it's almost made me bitter towards it. Sometimes its hard to let God work, but I know i have too. So, is everyone meant to know true love?

I just watched Taylor Swifts video for Love Story, so I'm going to have to say yes, haha. Sorry. Yes, I do think that G-d intended for us to have someone who is close to us and loves us differently than anyone else can. Yet, in order for us to experience this, we must be patient and be right with G-d first. So just focus on your relationship with G-d first, and then he may reward you if it is what he wills. I know it's hard, trust me it seems like this "true love" is all I can think about these days. I just trust G-d though, I know he will take care of me. =)

I'm beginning to wonder that myself. Too much heartbreak right now.

I think everyone is meant to know what true love is, it just may not be with a guy. Love isn't limited to that between a male and female. There is love between family members, friends, with God. Lornea has a good point, unless you are right with God then you can't truely experience 'true love' because God is love and love comes from him. I don't know if some of the ladies in here will agree with this but for the past couple of years, specially when I felt lonely and heartbroken I'd cry out to God and ask him to show me love. Psalm 38:9 (NIV) "All my longings lie open before you, O Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you." My thoughts were, God already knows the desires of my heart, he already knows I long to be loved and cherished so why not just tell him? I spent countless nights in tears crying out to him. Over time I learnt to trust Him more than I ever had before. I placed all my feelings, my whole heart in His hands and in a very surprising way He showed me loved. True love is out there girls. Be patient, trust in God, give everything over to Him, focus on building your relationship Christ and leave everything else up to Him :)

Speaking from personal experience, true love is out there. :) We just have to look for it. With God's help, of course ^_^
