well we are reading of mice and men by john steinbeck in english (im in 10th grade) i thought it was really good adn sad but my friends mom looked at the book and went to the school office then the school board to get it removed because of the curseing in it...i thought it was a really good book with a really good lesson...what do you think

Tell your friend's mom she's idiotic. If she can't see past the language and into the themes of the novel, then she has no right to ban - let alone analyze - anything.
