So microwave ovens are supposed to be safe, based on keeping the radiation inside the box, right? So why does the microwave being on make me lose the signal on my satellite radio? Does anyone else have Satellite that can confirm this? I'm tempted to take a microwave up on a rooftop of a buddy with Satellite TV and look into this. It's kinda creeping me out, and making me never want to use a microwave again. I avoid it already, but more for reasons of taste than anything else. IMO, the onyl things the microwave is good for is popping popcorn, baking potatoes and reheating pizza. But still, if I'm irradiating myself, I can find another way to perform those functions, too.
