I think what peewee meant by going out when he started this collumn wasn't "dating" exactly. By going out, he means hanging out at school, and a public announcement that you like each other, in other words. Yes, though, I definetly think that 12 is too young to start officially dating.

Well what's the point of admitting to each other and everyone else that you like each other? It seems pointelss to me..because in the end one of you is going to get hurt...even if you only get a little emotionally involved. I guess you just have to ask yourself will this glorify God? Is it furthering my relationship with Him? What is the reason we like people...to each admit it when we know it will not go anywhere or is it teh fundamental building blocks of marriage? I know a lot of people disagree with me but I think all the having crushes and admitting it to one another is pretty pointless and irrelevant...
