What do you think of Tattoos? I know some people who think they are ok and some who don't, personally I don't know what to think about them. But I was wondering what everyone else thought and show me some verses if you could about what the bible says about them. Thanks! Zena

i personally cant wait til i turn 18 nd can get one without my parents consent! but where does is say that TATOOS arent allowed...yeah some are bad when u totally cover urself but a lot of people i know have something symbolizing their salvation

I personally dont believe there is anything wrong with them, except they are uber permanant. I mean, getting it removed hurts more than getting it!

Lev 19:28. Pick out YOUR favorite Bible, and see what it says, if you don't believe it. I know plenty of people with them. I can appreciate the beauty. A buddy of mine just got both his lower legs tatted with Bible verses, and I see his point on starting conversations. But I don't plan to get any. It seems pretty clear to me. *edit* wrong verse And while I'm editing, I'll tell you one extra-biblical reason I dont plan to get any tattoos. I don't know when the rapture will come. There's a pretty strong case to be made before OR after the great tribulations. So I believe in praying for the best, while planning for the worst. That said, I'm not taking the mark of the beast. I'll sooner die. I have to accept the possibility that I may be a fugitive for my religion someday. Many Christians around the world already are. I'm not going to give them any easily distinguishable marks so they can identify me better.

I don't see anything wrong with them... You aren't putting your life in danger by getting a tattoo, and like some said, you can use it for witnessing.
