So, totally forgot to tell the story, so here it is: If you didn't notice, I disappeared for a good week right after Christmas. This is because James' parents surprised me Christmas Eve telling me to pack my things, we were leaving in the morning to go to Hilton Head Island in SC. So, we get there, and it’s beautiful. His parents have this apartment near the beach, and we went down there just to walk every day. Long walks on the beach, picnics, seagull chases and shell hunts, all that good stuff, every day. So, on New Year’s Eve, we all go to this early new year’s party thing at 7pm. :P But hey, it works, and it was fun. When we get back, James decides to take me on a moonlight walk along the beach, which was absolutely gorgeous, even if a little dark. I accidently got us stuck on sand bars that were 9/10 surrounded by water. :P Oops. But we worked it out and after a good hour of moon wandering, we decided to head back. We stopped to rest at a little beach side restaurant (closed for season, but still lit up) before we made the short walk back to the apartment. He was re-organizing his pockets, and put some change back in his wallet, then looked at something, and paused. He pulled out a fortune cookie fortune, which he said he’d kept for a while. It said “Focus on the long term; your wish will soon come true.” I asked him what his wish was, and he asked if it would come true if he told me. I said maybe, depends on what the wish is, really. And that’s when he got down on one knee and pulled the ring. :P Then there were, quite literally, fireworks on the beach, and after that, a security guard with a golf cart drove by (on happenstance- they’re not supposed to be running that route past 4pm, and it was 8:40) and kindly offered us a ride home. :)

Oh...my...GOSH!!!!!!!!!!! *SQUEALS* That is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo ROMANTIC!!!! *jumps up and down excitedly and glomps* CONGRATULATIONS!!! *squeal* Seriously, someobdy better help calm me down cause I am so excited about this news (even though I already knew) and then reading the story made me even more excited that I can't hardly spell anything.
